By combining design, leisure and service One50Kouter delivers and all round living experience. Located in the heart of Ghent, this luxury-oriented concept, re-envisions what it is to live in the city. Glenn Sestig envisioned a contemporary conversion of the iconic 60’s concrete facade architecture.

Each uniquely designed apartment overviews the Kouter or the patio-garden. The addition of the two upper penthouse floors are gifted with some superior views over the historical centre of Ghent!
On top of that the building will include some exclusive facilities & amenities including high-end concierge service, fitness, spa & wellness and many more.
We would like to thank the urban city planning and the departments of historic preservation and architecture of Ghent for the close collaboration.
Together, we came to a consensus concerning the conversion with new facades and the addition of an elegant volume on top of the building.
Hereinafter we got approval from the quality-commission of the city. In these next weeks we will be working hard to get the building permit done.

The shores of the picturesque 'Leie' in Sint-Martens-Latem are probably among the most desired locations in the Flemish country to create a home. Glenn Sestig was assigned to design a private residence, with concierge home on this magnificent plot with incredible views over the Belgian landscapes. This design refers to a modernist pavilion in which rich materials are composed into pure piece of architecture.

The List is a quarterly printed magazine with a weekly online guide. It talks to inspiring cultural innovators and entrepreneurs from all over the world. Glenn Sestig was honored to be one of them and talked about the cooperation with another Belgian innovator, Raf Simons. It also includes some of Glenn's favorite spots in Ghent for his afterwork time.

Glenn Sestig had a talk with TF magazine about his preferences regarding materials and how the choice becomes a new level within his architecture. When mastering the minimal architectural line, a clear and vast knowledge about the use and specifications of materials is necessary. Gallery Lannoo, an A+ Award Finalist designed by GSA is a perfect example.

It creates an insight about the work ethic and the man behind the office and its architecture.

One of our projects "Gallery Lannoo", in Ghent, was selected by the professional jury of the Architizer A+ Awards as one of the five best architectural projects in finding the balance between a new architectural vision and conservation of the valuable history that is linked with its original architecture.
Glenn Sestig is always honored that his vision and ideas are clearly appreciated and expressed in that manner.

penthouse rc. ghent

Glenn Sestig just finished this penthouse on top of the city with views from the harbor all the way to the rural areas around Ghent. It is located in the center of the historic sites, neighboring the three towers of the city.
The layout contains a securely distilled plan with accessible materials that is highlighted by the simplicity of it’s surrounding architecture.

Located in the newly build Ghelamco Arena, Glenn Sestig designed a piece of architecture within this building. Looking for an aesthetic upgrade in the gym business, this concept, in collaboration with lostnfound, uses a mix of vintage with new gym equipment.
By using luxurious, reflective materials such as bronze mirrors and black glass in combination with the present raw concrete and grey ceilings, the 'Glenn Sestig essence' creates a new and luxurious experience while working out.

This Mies Van der Rohe inspired villa combines massive building blocks with transparent, seemingly floating cantilevers. The main building and pavilion embrace the outdoor pool and lounge area. It reminds of the monumental architecture of Kahn, while still responding to the human scale.
The building shell is near completion and comprises large window planes, which appear to be submerged into thick, brick walls. The architecture creates and guides vistas over the surrounding green space.
